Chief Executive Officer

After 26 years of successful leadership and oversight of Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW) and advocacy for community health centers at the local, state and federal levels while maintaining his MD license and skills, our 1 and only CEO is planning his retirement.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will uphold and advocate for our Mission, our funding and lead CHCW into our envisioned future. The CEO is the president of the corporation and is responsible for the effective advancement and communication of the mission and vision of the corporation. This position oversees the planning, organization, implementation and coordination of all activities and services of the health center and related lines of business including; without limitation; budget, staffing, training and education, services and facilities.


  • Masters Degree in business or health care administration
  • Minimum combination of 6 years of relevant experience as a health care administrator; specific education in the administration of community health centers, teaching, and/or administrative experience in a family medicine residency program
  • Prior community health experience strongly desired
