Community Health of Central Washington, (CHCW) a Federally Qualified Health Center seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant to work in our nationally recognized primary care behavioral health program, developed by Dr. Kirk Strosahl.

The position is full time and offers a competitive salary combined with a generous and comprehensive benefits package including M/D/V/L, paid holidays, PTO/EIT, CME, loan repayment options, and retirement. Prior experience working as a Behavioral Health Consultant or working in residency or clinical training settings a plus. Must have an independent license to practice in current state of residence and be license eligible in the State of Washington.

CHCW provides primary care services to a large and ethnically diverse, underserved population with significant medical and behavioral health needs. CHCW is also a free-standing Family Medicine Residency Program associated with the University of Washington, Department of Family Medicine.  Our mission is to provide quality healthcare through service and education.

At CHCW, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team of Faculty Physicians, Resident Physicians, Behavioral Health Consultants, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Pharmacists, Licensed Nurses, Care Coordinators and other clinical support staff to promote and sustain high quality clinical services.

Community Health of Central Washington is looking for a full time Family Medicine Physician to join our faculty and team of skilled providers. Our Ellensburg clinic is home to the rural residency track of Central Washington Family Medicine Residency. One of the few rural programs where residents spend 90% of their residency experience in our medical clinic; our faculty collaborates with team members at the program’s headquarters in Yakima. MD and DO faculty members bring their particular interests and talents, and work alongside pharmacists and behavioral health professionals to bring full spectrum training to future practitioners.

MD or DO degree required with particular interest and demonstrated competency in teaching medical residents. Ability to obtain licensure to practice medicine in the state of Washington and DEA license with no restriction from participation with the Medicaid or Medicare programs, ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans and to be covered by CHCW malpractice liability carrier required.

Community Health of Central Washington is looking for a full time Family Medicine Physician to join its team of skilled providers.  CHCW is a federally qualified health center with a HPSA score of 19, making its providers eligible for the maximum loan repayment offered through NHSC, and NHSC Scholar eligible.  Our clinic is 3 blocks from the area’s critical needs hospital, and has a separate WIC facility and First Steps/Children and Youth with Special Healthcare Needs building on site. Surgical OB is a plus but not mandatory, and new graduates are welcome to apply!

Community Health of Central Washington is seeking a Chief Quality Officer to provide direction and oversight for all aspects of the organization’s quality improvement and risk management. Responsibilities include establishing policies and procedures at all levels of the organization; implementing and integrating quality process improvement efforts that will meet or exceed internal and external customer’s needs and expectations, and collaborate with the CMO on the risk management and patient safety program, maintain records, and communicate the results of the program.

This is a data driven position and requires experience with report analysis, measurement and communication. The Chief Quality Officer will work closely with the CMO, COO and Site/Service Directors to continuously improve performance as measured with reporting tools such as Meaningful Use, UDS and PCMH. Incumbent will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining best practices for PCMH Level 3.

Clinical background required RN, PA, ARNP, MD/DO. Equivalent experience may substitute for degree. Ideal candidate will be results oriented, have knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems; preferably AllScripts, experience and leadership in continuous quality improvement and total quality management along with measurable outcomes, proven leadership and management skills.
